These were handmade pillows with creepy doll heads in the middle of them. Notice the ribbons. hmmm.I feel like there are so many things that I need to post about, but I'll start with one of my favorite events-the Utah State Fair! This is the third year Kurt and I have gone together. After we went the first time I came home and told my family how much fun it is and I said, "How come you never took me to the fair when I was little?!" Apparently my mom had taken me to the fair at least once with my neighbors the Hick's girls and I don't remember it. Sorry mom. We had lots of fun this year with Felicity. She is pretty young, but she liked the animals and being carried around by her dad. Kurt thinks I like to go just for the food. Could be true. I also like looking at the photography exhibits.His favorite thing is watching the 4H kids show their pigs. Felicity's favorite thing was watching some people snort cocaine at the picnic table next to us. Seriously. Kurt went to buy a drink and while he was gone I looked over and this girl was pushing something around with a business card and then she leaned over with her dollar bill and snorted it. Classy. Other than that it was a wholesome family event.

Shut up! They were not doing cocaine at the fair! Between that and the creepy doll/pillows, I'll be surprised if you go again next year. Actually, I'm sure you'll go again. You looked too good holding the bird to stay home.
Haha, I LOVE IT! I seriously miss the fair so much! These last two years are the first I haven't been able to go and I always think about it when I know it's going on and I am so far away. I am glad you got to go!! I miss seeing the abnormally large horse and steer and eating funnel cake. And I guess I miss seeing weird things like pillows with doll heads in the middle..... crazy!! Lol!

oh my, looks like fun. One day when we live in Utah we could make it an annual tradition and go together. We are headed to the Texas State Fair next week. The food really is the best part isn't it? Mmmm! Miss you more!
Cocaine at the fair, I guess you will have to start coming to the small town fairs with us, there is no cocaine. I don't know though you will miss the doll head pillows. It was good to see youguys this weekend. Love ya! Kurt- love the Yankees post, AMEN!
